Dr. Tarun Sharma

Dr Tarun Sharma is a renowned Neuro Surgeon with expertise in Brain & Spine Surgery. He did his neurosurgical training at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (P.G.I. Chandigarh) in 2008. After finishing his neurosurgical residency, he went for a clinical fellowship at the Division of Neuro-oncology, Toronto Western Hospital (University of Toronto, Canada). He also had an opportunity for Visiting fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at the Hospital for sick-kids, Toronto (Canada). He has worked as an assistant professor of neurosurgery at Indra Gandhi Medical College Shimla (H.P.). He has also worked as Consultant Neurosurgeon at various reputed hospitals in north India. He has been practicing in Faridabad for the last 12 years. He is the first neurosurgeon in the Faridabad region to implement the technique of Awake Craniotomy for resection of brain tumors. He has many publications to his credit and chapters in books. He has a rich experience in neurosurgery & performed more than fifteen thousand brain & spine surgeries. Dr Tarun Sharma has expertise in all kinds of brain & spine surgeries. He has a special interest in awake craniotomy for brain tumors, endoscopic neurosurgery & minimally invasive spine surgery techniques.
